Black Eyed Peas' producer and rapper will.i.am is trying on a different set of shoes Aug. 14 at Lure nightclub -- he'll serve as guest DJ.
Earlier that evening, he's on stage at Scottrade Center for the Black Eyed Peas tour.
Slant-E and Tommy D will spin as well.
Doors are at 10 p.m.

Don Hill's Reboot To Possibly Be Another Crappy Night Club

It was revealed in a lengthy New York Post profile that the location of former Soho rock spot Don Hill's may soon be under the ownership of Nur Khan. From the piece by Micki Siegel, quoting Khan: “It’s going to be a really cool rock ’n’ roll joint,” he says, “a total dive dance club. It’s just what the doctor ordered for these times.”
That sounds well and good and actually pretty kick ass, but look at Khan's record of opening many doors and then making them notoriously to get through-he's part owner of the super-exclusive Kenmare and Rose Bar. Let's hope this new place isn't quite as exclusive (read: awful clubs full of jerks who want to pretend they're at divey dance clubs

Paris upset by ex encounter

Paris Hilton was reportedly so determined to make her ex-boyfriend leave a nightclub she asked the DJ to announce she didn't want him there.
The hotel heiress split from reality TV star Doug Reinhardt earlier this year. She hasn't discussed the reasons for the break-up, only saying she felt she deserved "something much better".
Paris has been holidaying in St Tropez over the past few days, and partied at nightspot Les Caves du Roy on Thursday night.
When she got to the club the 29-year-old was horrified to see Doug dancing in the crowd, and decided to make her annoyance known.
